Summary

Everyone has three lives。 A public life, a private life, and a secret life。

I’m a junior in high school, and yet, I’ve never been on a date。

Everybody says it's because my overprotective brothers scare all the guys away, but I can't help wondering if there's something wrong with me。

That is, until I hear a rumor that I’m secretly dating my brothers’ best friend。

What?

Sure, I used to think Mack was the most perfect guy in the universe, but I got over that crush years ago。

And even though he teases my brothers about taking me to Make-Out Point, there’s no way he’d actually make good on that threat。 I’ve only ever been the dorky girl next door to him。

But when Mack’s sleepwalking episodes lead him to staying a few nights on the trundle bed in my room and we talk and share things we never tell anyone else, I start to wonder if a secret relationship is exactly what I want。

My brothers have made it clear that Mack is never allowed near me。 But what my brothers don’t know can’t hurt them, right?

This story really was one of a kind, adorable, and a must read!! This one will grab you and not let go。 Great story of true friendships and how much we need friends when the hard things in life come。 It was also really funny! So if that’s important to you in a book this one is for you! As always I can’t wait for the next book! I was totally not in the mood to read in the YA genre when I started this one but it one me over before I could even finish the first chapter。 You just can’t help being emotionally attached to everyone in this world。

I was so excited to get to read this book after reading the first book in the series。 I couldn’t stop reading it because it just had it all。 This is a brothers best friends/neighbour YA romance and is the second book in this series。 It had all the feels, I went from laughing to crying in a matter of minutes。 I loved the relationship development between cambrielle and Mack。 Even when they had known each other all their lives it wasn’t until Mack was asked a favour that things changed it all。 The I was so excited to get to read this book after reading the first book in the series。 I couldn’t stop reading it because it just had it all。 This is a brothers best friends/neighbour YA romance and is the second book in this series。 It had all the feels, I went from laughing to crying in a matter of minutes。 I loved the relationship development between cambrielle and Mack。 Even when they had known each other all their lives it wasn’t until Mack was asked a favour that things changed it all。 The more time they spent together the more it just felt natural and easy and I felt every sort of emotional like I was there watching it unfold。 I was left crying quiet a bit in some moments where I was sobbing so I recommend a tissue box。 I love reading a book where the perfect girl is right in front of the male character and it takes something to change the perspective。 This book has to be one of my favorite books of Judy Corry’s and I cannot wait to read more of this series。 I received an arc to give an honest opinions 。。。more

I really like Mack and Cambrielle together。 The friendship was great and lead naturally to a great romance。 I really enjoyed the family dynamics in this book。 Mack’s mother’s cancer is hard to read but I think it was handled well。

I'm not gonna lie - I was disappointed when I heard the 2nd book was going to be about Cam and Mack。 I really wanted to hear Elyse's story next! But this story blew me out of the water!! It goes so much deeper than just a contemporary romance!! (which there's nothing wrong with contemporary romance - I read it often!) This surprised me with Mack and his mom's relationship。 It brought me to tears and I found myself highlighting and thinking about some of the insights they had。 I really loved Mack I'm not gonna lie - I was disappointed when I heard the 2nd book was going to be about Cam and Mack。 I really wanted to hear Elyse's story next! This is one of my favorites of Judy 's second only to Meet Me There。 This is not your typical YA romance。 We are taking on a roller coaster of emotions。 Mack is everything I love in a BBC。 He's funny and he loves to tease the girl he likes。 I love the different facets of Cambrelle。 She's shy and sweet but also confident。 This was a great story and I loved it。 This is one of my favorites of Judy 's second only to Meet Me There。 This is not your typical YA romance。 We are taking on a roller coaster of emotions。 Mack is everything I love in a BBC。 He's funny and he loves to tease the girl he likes。 I love the different facets of Cambrelle。 She's shy and sweet but also confident。 This was a great story and I loved it。 。。。more

I absolutely loved these characters! Such a great match! The teasing (like siblings) and the initial disgust at even thinking of the other person romantically to the slow burn of realizing they actually did have feelings for each other and the gradual maturing of the relationship… the characters were so realistic and fun that it was easy to imagine them in real life。 I really thought the author did an excellent job in portraying and expanding on their personalities。 I didn’t feel lost like I oft I absolutely loved these characters! The Facadewas a sweet, cute and romantic story between friends that blossoms into a lot more than expected。 It was a sort of coming of age story for Cambrielle Hastings with having a lot of first experiences when it comes to putting herself out there and getting into a relationship with her brothers best friend and next door neighbor Mack Aarden。 Cambrielle and Mack’s story definitely took them on quite a journey from the get go。 Not realising what one simple event could lead to, turns into The Facadewas a sweet, cute and romantic story between friends that blossoms into a lot more than expected。 It was a sort of coming of age story for Cambrielle Hastings with having a lot of first experiences when it comes to putting herself out there and getting into a relationship with her brothers best friend and next door neighbor Mack Aarden。 Cambrielle and Mack’s story definitely took them on quite a journey from the get go。 Not realising what one simple event could lead to, turns into them keeping their blooming relationship a secret in order for it to work。 Especially when you throw in overprotective older brothers, life issues involving family illnesses and schooling decisions。 All resulting in Cambrielle and Mack having their plates full, making their path together a tough one to whether through considering the endless obstacles and hurdles to overcome in order for them to know if it’s the real deal and worth it。With all of that going on, Judy Corry made you feel the many different emotions seeping out from the pages, with giving you an understanding just what exactly Mack and Cambrielle felt and endure throughout。 Leading to moments that had you laughing, smiling, swooning whilst simultaneously feeling sad, crying and hurting from the heartache and pain that both suffered through。 Especially Mack when it came to his mother, it had my heart breaking for him。 While I did enjoy the story overall, I did have to knock off a star firstly because in the beginning the story felt a little too slow paced for my liking。 Especially since it felt a little too wordy, resulting in the progression of the story not feeling like it was going anywhere with the lack of a strong and clear direction IMO。 Also I felt the drama surrounding the situation Cambrielle uncovers happened quite quickly with it all being over too fast。 I guess I would have preferred it either be expanded on a little more, considering I expected there to be a bigger explosion from the outcome of it all。All in all, The Facadewas a sweet story with seeing Cambrielle and Mack having a HEA they deserved。 Especially with that bonus epilogue。 Safe to say, I am still looking forward to Elyse’s story next。*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

A good, clean, emotion stirring YA romance: Mack is warning off his best friends’ sister, Cambrielle。 They are just friends until the kiss。 Neither one could forget it but how can they be together without the brothers finding out? Plus, both are dealing with issues: Cambrielle with her dancing and Mack with the illness of his mother。 I really enjoyed this story; I laughed and cried。 I would highly recommend it。
